Download the Emulator
- Download the Commodore 64 emulator 'CCS64' here, for Windows. You need this to run the games. Please note that I DID NOT MAKE THIS EMULATOR, and therefore can only provide limited help with it. This readme file may be of use to get you started, however. Visit the developer's website for more information.

Click the thumbnails below to download the free C64 games. They are all in ZIP format. Once they have downloaded use a zip/unzip
utility such as Winzip
to extract the contents of each zip file to a folder called
'games'. Its best to arrange it so that this is near the folder
where the CCS64 emulator is. E.G. "C:\C64\Games\" where C64
is the location of the emulator.

Impossible Mission
"Destroy
Him, My Robots". Classic stuff.
Starquake
Classic
game with lots ambient spacey noises. Someone's painstakingly made a map of the entire game which you might find helpful.
Antiriad
Err..
Basically you're a naked bloke who fortunately discovers a nifty
suit (The Secret Armour Of Antiriad).
Bubble Bobble
Lots
of Bubbles, dragons, fruit and stuff - you know. "Enter
the Cave of Monsters..."
Golden Axe
The
chances are that you remember the Amiga version, this is slightly
less impressive but the actual game play is the same.
Fort Apocalypse
Quite Primitive, used to be a personal fave back in the day...
Monty On The Run
Comes
complete with 'Freedom Kit' list, so you can avoid those anoying
bits where you can't go any further.
The Last Ninja
Run
around, generally being a ninja, the last one in fact.
Last Ninja 2
The
guy in the corner occasionally winks; need I say more ? Oh yeah,
ace music too...
Crazy Comets
They're
c-c-c-crazy alright.
Skate Rock
Skate
around generally avoiding cars, joggers, roadworks and dogs.
Blue Max
You
Pilot a small biplane behind enemy lines, avoiding AA fire and
getting into dogfights etc.
Jack The Nipper 2
To
be honest, a very bad game. However the atrocity gives it comedy
value, and the music's strangely pleasing. The yellow thing
in shades in this screen shot is about the most ridiculous thing
I've seen on it.
